Leak between tub and sides
My Defender leaks between the tub (the pickup bit) and the sides (the hard top bit). At least, when it rains hard I get a puddle on the wheel arch box, the sides above the join aren't wet, there's water obviously sitting inside and now I've taken the sides off the roam is wet in a few areas.

I have the roof off to get it resprayed, and have taken the side off to have a look. In order to stop it leaking, what is my best option? Replace the foam bit? (Is that going to be silly expensive?) Run a bead of sealant along before I but the sides back on? Try and bolt the sides down tighter? Something else?

I would inspect and replace the foam seal if required, then use a tall bead of Innotec Adheseal or similar to seal the joint.

I've just refitted my body cappings, sides and roof using Adheseal and its really good kit.

Mine does the exact same so used sealant along the outside edges to cover the foam!!

Would definitely replace the foam so you know it's good and as said add a good bead top and bottom
