As a bit of a public service I thought that I would give you all a heads up as I know you all lead busy lives and don't have time to read the papers or listen to the T.V.
Following Whirlpool's acquisition of the Hotpoint/Indesit brands, Indesit Company has closely reviewed the safety of its product portfolio. As part of this review we have identified a potential concern with two types of tumble dryers manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015. In some rare cases, excess fluff can come into contact with the heating element and present a risk of fire. The affected brands are: •Hotpoint •Indesit •Creda If you want to check yours here the link http://safety.hotpoint.eu/ Unfortunately ours is on the list and I have been nominated to sit and watch it while is on which beats Eastenders or Coronation street. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |
