I'm just doing some research as mine is a 300tdi and rev counter needs to go to alternator not ecu do you know if this one will work on alternator? My 109 thread

balls, scrap that my alternator doesn't have w terminal so can't fit. sorry offer retracted

It would not work on a 300Tdi anyway

Well vdo do make the LR guages and it fits and works in a td5 so technically it is a rev counter for a td5. If you want to pay double for a sticker that says td5 be my guest
