Best quality by a million miles. No leaks and if they ever did Twisted would take back and re-work.
Everything is top notch from steering bosses, wheels, brakes, suspension to the little details like 3mm laser cut, cnc folded DRL bumpers that aren't only coated like some suppliers these are ELV zinc coated under the black coating. Top Quality builders and a league above all others.

Hi all, just found this thread and i dont have a Twisted Defender, BUT, about 2-3 years ago i needed a new back end exhaust for my 96 defender 110 pick up, so i thought i would splash out and get a FULL exhaust system from them, Sports system, about £550 worth, after a month and 2 phone calls a week, it finally came, BIG disappointment as it was for a Defender 90 not a 110, so after ANOTHER month they finally got back to me after i had told them it was the wrong one the day it had arrived, that if i send it back and they had checked it over (b Censoredy cheek i thought) they would give my money back to me, Another 2 weeks went by and my money was returned.
Dont get me wrong ,i love the products they do, but i will never use them again, even if i win the lottery. Sorry for the negative reply but i was very, very disappointed as i was looking forward to their product on my Landy.

Cheers

Clayton.

2 Years ago they company changed massively and had a big overhaul.
They moved to a premises 6 times larger to cope with the demand. I but it was during the moving period. No Excuse but think things have moved on a hell of a lot since then!

I'm taking mine to twisted next year for a reasonably extensive list of jobs.
Most I could purchase the parts and do it myself, but to get the job properly I think it's worth the cash.

Mods include leather, drl bumper, stainless exhaust, paint to cross member, and the lower remap to improve drivability not too fussed about oodles of power... That might come further down the line.

I'm quite aware that all these mods can be purchased from others at half the price, but when quality is the name of the game...

Twisted, the real deal
OK Gents, might upset a few diehards here!

When I was researching the upgrades for my keeper i dropped in at Twisted in July 2014.

I had a 20 minute conversation with Charles Fawcett, and while he knew there was no way I was going to buy one of his trucks.

He still had the time and enthusiasm about Defenders to point me in the right direction about the mods to do and what not to do.

Top bloke Thumbs Up

If I did win the lottery, which I won't.

The 3 car garage would definatley have a Twisted Defender in it, next to the Caterham 620R and a Masarati Ghibli.
