[SOLD] Alpine KTP-445A 4ch Amplifier Amplifier
Right I'm pretty sure this is the very last item in my redundant audio upgrade parts bin!

If the photo's below are upside down please rotate your head or your screen Very Happy

These are actually very, very good and make a big difference to the standard HU fitted. But Of course I was too fussy.

You will see from the pictures that I modified the "in" wiring loom to use the head unit connector. However, I have included the original end and if you want to return it to the standard cable you'll simply need to re-solder the wires.

It has some remnants of foam stuck to its back which was there to reduce vibration. Its a bit scratched etc from installation but obviously is never seen.

Just like all the other bits it probably saw sub 10 hours use!

For those that don't know this little box sits inline between your HU and car wiring.

£50 delivered anywhere in mainland UK. Paypal or BT.

Barney,

I take it this is just a plug and play task for the standard alpine unit?

Yes, it sits between the car wiring and the HU.
So as long as you have the Alpine HU with the black connector then plug and play.

Its a very effective upgrade for the standard HU and very simple to fit (plug and play). However you really need to upgrade from the standard speakers to get proper value.
I only changed for a 5ch amp as I wanted to add 2 sets of rears and a dedicated sub.
It all comes down to pennies. I ended up spending 4 figures to get the sound quality I wanted Sad...

Barney, Could you explain & show, what you did, in full...ie, what your system now consists of, with pics?
And, what was the "sound quality" you achieved,...good bass, distortless higher volume?, etc?!!
Thanks, Pickles.
