 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
Fuel cooler
guess how much it costs from LR when you drive over some branches and a branch snaggs a couple of pipes on the fuel cooler?

whats gutting is that i have a nice D44 fuel cooler sat in the wksp just not got around to fitting it!!!

Bloody stupid place to put a cooler and all that pipework! Cheers

Just tried to buy a fuel cooler guard from devon 4x4. When registering they ask for your region, as long as its england or wales you can register and buy online! Oh well will phone them in morning and see if they will deal with me otherwise I will need to ask one of you southerners to get it for me (send cash first obviously,(cant trust the scots,tight as f**k so they say)) Laughing

Well, let's put it this way, I can understand why JST put it off - it's an arduous quarter of an hour job, and you may have to wash some waxoyl off your hands once finished. Very Happy Peter

i cant remember what i paid for mine, i thought it was £50 but may be wrong, mine came from Jake @ Devin, speak to him he will sort you out. maybe it was £30, just cant remember.

anyway 2 fuel lines, fitted - £240 Cheers

true, its a good 15mins to fit! i bought it for planning ahead for overseas trips when driving on shingle etc. i should of fitted it but was planning on changing the truck so didn't.

then last Fri - out setting up for a challenge event and - well there you go!

Should of fitted it.

Just waiting for the MPN for the pipes and will fit them myself, not paying £240 for it thats for sure. Cheers

no it was the actual pipe, just back from the cooler. pipe is £33ish from a stealer! Cheers
