Put some pipe lagging round the gearstick to damp the vibrations a bit?

Sounds like it could be the weights at the bottom of the gear knob,

in my old series 3 i used to get a gearstick rattle, and the vehicle was out of warantee by 15 years.
i went to great lengths and expense to solve that rattle....... elastic band around the gear stick accross to the low ratio gearstick. problem solved ![]() my landrover toolkit is big hammer, gaffer tape, zip ties and elastic bands ![]() |
