The problem is that they are hand made, so they hold the door in the hole and drill the holes for the bolts to match the car. You could elongate the holes slightly as it should not take much or try and pull at wider gap at the bottom to lift the door slightly as there should be some adjustment. Ray

Are you new hinges Genuine or aftermarket?
I fitted a rear door a couple months ago for a friend, the aftermarket hinges were off by 1/4 inch!! The door would not fit with those hinges in place. Had to use the old set temporarily, and get Genuine replacements. |

they are not genuine but the old door hinges are mega loose which makes me think they were wound right out to give enough play to fit. I tried to order genuine hinges but they turned up in a blue bag !

I might bore out the holes on the hinges with the pillar drill to see if that gives enough adjustment whilst waiting for replacement hinges.
