Hi all,
As some of you may be aware, my wife and I are doing the NC500 next month God willing. I believe it may be wise to have a CB radio if we decide/get permits(if needed) to go off the beaten track.. So am looking for a full CB set up, at a reasonable price. As my truck has just set me back nearly £1000 for some repair work, as the ECU died, and the fuel pressure regulator needed changing, and to top it off Monday im changing the fuel injector loom to reduce the risk of more oil reaching the new ECU (which im cleaning regular) So if anyone has a CB radio set up going at a reasonable price let me know. If Gilarions doesn't float your boat try Thunderpole.co.uk. You can get the basic set up quite cheap now. Two options in each for budget and slightly more expensive (note, not cheapest, just budget).

I have a redundant CB radio, SWR meter and cable, but you will need to purchase a new aerial. I also have the antenna mount for a roof rack if you need it? Let me know if you are interested and will PM you the details tonight. Regards, Steve |
