Good start to the weekend,
Went to fit a set of locking wheel nuts to my alloys and found they already had a set fitted.... So fitted two on each wheel for extra security Then a small package has arrived from Ultraguage so tonight will have a quick look at how it works on line (manual seems quite long....) I went for this in the end. http://ultra-gauge.com/ZC/index.php?main_p...ucts_id=56 Click image to enlarge Will search the forum and fin where people put it but in front of dash seems obvious between dials, Thanks |

And it does sit really nicely in front of the dash on top the steering column, it's where I had mine...
Although a couple of enterprising D2 members have fully integrated the UG into their dash in the same place... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |

Someone fitted there's in the dash clocks and it looked brilliant. I'll try and find the thread. Ray

The forum is a wealth of shared data for us to learn from. BTW I bought this set http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/too...panner-set and have been really impressed plus you get a Lifetime Guarantee.

I wish Ian...
Mine is just going to end up sitting in front of that place in the Keswick Special... I have neither the skills, tools, patience or even confidence to tackle that on my new P&J... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |

For now, I've done it the easy way...
Not even stuck it down properly yet as want to be sure its in the right place when driving so just used Velcro for now. So far looks neat though I did try and hide the wires. Need to go through the instructions to see how I set it up and what info I would like. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

You could have popped the OBD plug out of its mounting, that would have saved you cutting a hole in your dash... 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

I did think that, after I started
However I wasn't sure I would upset something doing that and too be honest you cannot see it as its underneath. I love the built it look, in the correct colour also... |

Mine is still stuck to the top of the steering column - trying to pluck up the courage to dismantle the speedo as that looks fantastic.
I bought one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Generic-ELM327-Fem...00MA20DFI/ Suspiciously cheap but amazingly works perfectly. I did pop the socket out of the mounting plate originally but didn't like it rattling around. |

Stacey, where in the USA did you find the best deal? I'm just about to order one along with a few other bits and pieces as I can get it delivered from US to UK by hand.
