Warn Winch battery cables.. Long enough?
Anyone know if the 72" battery cables are long enough to get to the battery?? Can't imagine they would be...do warn do an extension kit or what do you guys normally use?

Incidentally Warn do do an extension kit they fitted it to my winch and when we ordered teh genuine LR bumper it came with the extension cables too Mike

It would appear that the 72" cables are not long enough. For the positive to reach the battery terminal you actually need approx 10 feet. I will either check if I can get an extension kit from flatdog or will have some new cables made up. Andy

The exact length cables are available, i may even have a set.

Were did you get your warn from arbil4x4 are the only UK importer - speak to them they will sort you out a set.

For me they sorted and fitted at cost of the cable Mike

Got it from flat dog, would be much better to have the correct lengths as you says it's no hassle of extension joints, have the old ones bolted off, in fact found a stray nut lying inside the controller, poor QC warn.... Smile. I will make a few calls tomo but if you have any please let me know. Andy
