Interesting Roy. I have had no issues whatsoever with mine and running temperatures (Scangauge fitted) seem stable in varying ambient temperatures ranging from Summer ones right up to 33 degrees. Winter there is obviously a difference. Do you have any further information/links to this issue? It could be argued perhaps that by masking off part of the front grill cooling may be less effective but the air that does get through may be quicker or more condensed?
I know it has been 'mentioned' on here before but without any supporting facts really? Temperature running slightly reduced and dissipation rate increased with the eventual fitting of a larger intercooler, replacement exhaust system and decat though? My spotlights are I would have thought large enough to cause cooling issues if they do in fact exist. Thanks K9F, I was actually looking to design my own, just needed inspiration! Yours look good, and perfect for moving the LF's forwards. I'll let you know what I come up with. usbrit [O]=[O] |

They certainly do the A/C version and it can be mounted top or bottom of the grille, depending on whether a winch is fitted, or personal taste I guess... Be aware the Shadow Bar is only good for spots up to 6" diameter though... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |
