Hi
The BAS2RRC will give you the latest landrover update at the same time if ordered direct via my web site direct from me as you will have direct support. Sadly the Artic does not offer software updates as its not capable of programming the fuller calibration correctly. https://secure.bellautoservices.co.uk/stor...2-4l-tdci/ We also advise in hot climate a larger intercooler not already fitted, should you take the intercooler at the same time as the BAS2RRC you can select free shipping on the BAS2RRC tool as we can ship it with the intercooler for you. Kind Regards Pete Last edited by bell-auto-services on 12th Oct 2015 3:46pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Hi Pete,
Thanks for the reply - good to know that the RRC can also do the latest LR updates Latest Allisport intercooler, De-cat and straight through mid-section are on their way. Also a MadMan EMS2 to keep an eye on EGT. Also planning an uprated Allisport radiator once the wife quietens down a bit Is there anything else I need in preparation of the re-map? I've read about an airbox mod, but some of you guys advocate it, whilst others imply its not worth doing. What do you recommend, and what is needed in order to do it? Bear in mind that I am not in UK and need to order an parts.... |

I personally do mod the air box and also use standard paper filters and change them often to keep them clean and the best they can be.

Appreciate the responses Pete! Would I need to send you the airbox, or can I do it remotely (with appropriate guidance / instructions)?
Also, as I am fitting the de-cat do you recommend that I uprate the manifold-turbo gasket and studs? I know its not strictly necessary, but if it can improve reliability I am happy to do it. If so, can you supply the parts? |
