Withdrawn as not transferrable
Hi, I bought a new ECU from Pete Bell about 6 months ago but I will be selling the Landy soon so no longer required. It is the full power version, just unplug your standard ECU and plug this one in. I think it is about 165BHP and of course a lot more torque. As well as more power and grunt it makes the car a lot smoother to drive and gear changes seem better. It takes about 10 mins to fit. A very good mod for a Defender.

To fit, remove 2 x 8 mm screws holding the plastic engine cover and remove cover, pull off wiring loom plastic lugs that are pushed onto ECU bolts and remove the two 10 mm nuts holding the ECU in place. Unplug the three wiring connectors - that's it - refit new ECU in reverse order. You can put your standard ECU in a bag with some silica gel for when you may want to swap back.

It is like new and solid state so in theory identical to a new one, £400 inc postage seems fair. Can do PayPal by private message and then I can post or you could collect if prefer. 110 Hardtop

Hi, I am sure you can move to another vehicle easily but maybe worth asking Pete Bell at BAS. I will try and contact him and ask.

Just posted this "Can I sell my re-mapped ECU on Report post
Hi Pete, you supplied me a re-mapped ECU in March this year, so I could interchange between standard and mapped, can I sell this on to another forum member? - In other words can they just plug it into their car and it will work ok as long as it's the same spec, in other words it is a Defender TDCi 2.2.

I am selling my Defender so I would like to sell it on at a reduced price.

Thanks in adavance" 110 Hardtop
