Seats are stunning. It's nice to see you stuck with the premium and didn't go down the recaro route. Andy

Hi Rog, just found this thread whilst having breakfast.
It's a bit like when you're reading a good book, couldn't wait to get on to the next page. I got to about page 8 and was beginning to get agitated because you'd left on the standard badge! I particularly like the discrete steering guard in black. The seats are the icing on the cake though, a great blend of traditional colours and modern style and comfort (I imagine). It's given me a few ideas for my 110uw in Keswick. How far away are urban truck..... Thank you T1G, me too... Thank you very much, I did not even consider Recaros, or any others tbh... And a huge thank you to everyone who has read, commented, followed or otherwise encouraged me in this wee project, it is much appreciated... It is also good to know that we have managed to get most things right along the way... Rog... The GREEN One... Much appreciated Angus, I hope it did not spoil your breakfast (still not had mine... )... Urban Truck are based in Milton Keynes, so not too far away from Aberdeen really, at least on the same small island... Rog... The GREEN One... We may have had a little excess leather to dispose of...
(By the by - I apologise for the apparent colour variations, I did not take the photographs!) Click image to enlarge So a couple of little extras were added to the Keswick Special... Click image to enlarge Try as I might, the Rotate function will NOT function via my iPhone or iPad... I will rectify the last from my iMac tomorrow but, for now, just view it when you're horizontal... Rog... The GREEN One... Thank you kindly, whilst I was not really looking to emulate the Heritage style, the comparison is not lost on me and I appreciate that as a compliment indeed Avion8... To be honest, the 'Special' will probably easily outlast me now, but I will certainly enjoy it for as long as I am able... Rog... The GREEN One... Where did you get the alloy gear lever knobs from Roger? I really like the look of those and can see another purchase coming on.
Hope you have a great day when you collect it tomorrow and I look forward to loads more pictures once you've got it. 2015 Defender 90XS HT |

Ah, you noticed that Paul...
They were supplied by Urban Truck as they keep them as stock items in straight ally, black or carbon look... Personal preference in my case, having seen them all... I am not actually collecting it tomorrow, it is off to Zag on Tuesday by transport, as I cannot take it down personally... My first drive will be Friday, when I pick it up from Zag's, following the undercarriage protection... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Rog... The GREEN One... Don't you find it frustrating there is no room for improvement from Friday on? 😊

Hmmm, my first concern. The gear levers. Everything looks factory OeM to now...these don't. I have 3/4/5 cnc axis machines so always to machine bits for the truck but it's too much metal. Would be nice anodised a nice graphite green to match. Andy
