Hi all hoping for a few pointers just picked up my new to me 110 commercial station wagon.
Its fitted with cooper discoverers stt in 265 75 16 any ideas what pressures I should have in them for a lightly loaded motor? Currently 30psi front and 40 psi rear |

Google 4psi rule. Its just one line of thinking but I have had great wear from BFG muds using it. It all depends on laod and tire size, and everyone is a little different. But its sure nice to know 36 in the front regardless, and in the rear 40 for light loads, and 46 for full expedition load works for my set up. My Defender and travels

Don't forget that forecourt air pumps are crap, the number they give you is a bit random so if you're going to test your warm vs cold pressure (never heard of it before), use a hand held jobbie from Halfwits or similar. I think I read from my motorcycle days that those little pop out testers are OK.
With that in mind, I just round it up. 40psi in the front and 50psi in the back. But then I do get to lug around heavy loads. |

Thanks for all the replies.
Got a really good analogue gauge that's accurate. so its now 36 front and 40 rear will see how this feels . |
