United Kingdom 2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Keswick Green
What (if anything) changed between MY15 and MY16 ?
Just under two weeks to go until I pick up my 90HT. Very Happy

It's already at the dealer, but I'm working overseas, and trying very hard not to get too excited just yet.

It's a 2016 model, but that got me wondering. Are there ANY differences between a 2016 and a 2015 Defender?

And why do they switch half way through the year and not in December?

Is it just a marketing thing?

As far as has been worked out so far, nothing has changed.

16MY vehicles have a handbook supplement covering the 150PS engine variant and the LE vehicles.

I believe model years changing in August time is (or was) related to the summer factory shut down period. The new model year would start following the shut down, which allowed any changes to be made to the line.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Common mate, its a 2016 and not 2015. That's enough change for a Defender. If we try I'm sure we could fit all the changes from 1983 on the back of a beer coater.

Enjoy, it's a nice time of ownership, may it prevail. My Defender and travels
