Must be something about Defenders and that car park.

Last Time I was up that way I slept in the back of a 110, before getting up at 0300 and making an assent of Pen-y-ole-wen for sunrise.

Bloody good day on the hill to be honest.

tack...

didn't 'wild camp' in the true sense, as in canvas tent on the mountain. but slept in the motor in the layby, kinda felt 'edgy', but after a few cans & pete tong on the decks was just fine. had already taken out the 40 split seat out, and had a chipboard length cut to reach over the store boxes to the front passenger seat, was idea for a 5'8" fella. so much so i've started to google/cost flip-top roofs... Shocked my RTT is ace, but sometimes for one night solo, it's just a faff...(the packing mostly, i detest that, it's like a chore)

Amazing what a few sherbets does for ya Rolling with laughter

Bet your loving the new extra space compared to your 90, I found my 110 had more practical space than my D3, allows for more sherbets for wild camping Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

I went to the top of tryfan and took pictures of my old vito in that layby too!

I do know some good pikey spots just a bit further down the road, but the good spots are being locked off one by one and are harder to come by now.

Was an excellent one just down the road from the old coachhouse in capel curieg, but its now locked off.

Hiya...

roofrack now a collabaration of two Hannibal D90 racks. The rack platform on the truck now, is an older version, which had the rail upstand. I removed that because it's a pain trying to deploy and strike the RT.

i came by another complete D90 rack and scarfed the cross rails.

should anyone be in the market for a D90 Hannibal platform, i've got one knocking around... Wink

so cold i can't be bothered to 'spanner' anything today... Laughing

game over until spring time for me now...boo

fitted the RAI, sump guard, wheel carrier and cargo barrier recently, although 1/2 way through the CP. the wings tops only placed on, (was thinking about it today, but sacked it off)... Very Happy

spring time brings about dual battery/OME package/D44 bolt on's.

so far...
