Recently returned from 4 weeks of travel from Cape Town to the Kunene River taking west route and skirting the Skeleton Coast park. 2 Defenders (2.4 Puma & a Tdi), TD5 Disco 2 and a 2.5 ltr Ford Ranger.
Total of 3 tyres shredded and Disco rear window demolished by a stone thrown by a young Himba lad. Absolutely fantastic trip with close encounters with desert elephant and rhino. Great part of the world! I was based up there for a year or so around Epupa falls.
