| [Free] TD5 Sump - Needs helicoil or similar for drain thread | |
On servicing my TD5 for the first time a couple of weeks ago I found that the place I purchased it from who serviced it before sale had stripped the drain hole threads in the sump and just screwed in a bolt with a load of plumbers paste on it.  I have got a replacement sump from ebay and if someone wants the old one with the knackered thread, they are welcome to come and take it.
Sump is in perfect order apart from the drain threads which can be easily fixed by anyone with a helicoil kit.
Collection from Billinge, nr Wigan/St.Helens or you can arrange courier collection.
