Bad idea for a thread...
I spent too long drooling at 370+ pages here/... http://www.luxury4play.com/automotive/3656...-pics.html As for your house....just build more garages and stay in your flat...I would. |

I hate these threads! People have incredible custom build garages and I'm struggling on the drive way! (at least I have a drive...). I also have a garage which is TOO LOW TO FIT IN ggggrrrr

Yup. Some people are in the very fortunate position whereby they don't know what it's like to want for something....

I've met some incredibly wealthy people who want a great deal that they cant have and would dearly want. As the adage goes "money can't buy you happiness" |

I'd like to see that with a Defender. By the time it hit the roof I reckon you'd have about 2" of clearance under the wheels Still very cool though. . |

Looking good! I would have built one as big as that. But we live on the National Park.
It took me 14 months to get permission for the one we have. We still don't even have full planning for the house and today I've been informed that our site is going to be registered as a breeding site for 4 different species of bat so we're now stuck again. The soonest we can even start the application process for a licence from Natural England is next May! |

At the other end of the 'Garage Scale'
Recently I finished the last job on the Dinitrol to-do-list...the Bonnet and my 'pop-up garage', a Coleman Event Tent was all I needed. (12' x 12' Version on 'Telegraph Pole Stilts' gets a 90 underneath, the 15' x 15' size gives more room still and would be good for a 110). Not the best photo, but you get the idea. I know. Its such a trade off though. If you ever watch Grand Designs and think that the stress levels of self builders is hype for the TV you'd be wrong. Its very real! I can see why so many couples end up with a pregnancy on Grand Designs, I reckon its stress relief! |
