Cat escapes on a Land Rover roof
"Owners of a missing Penzance cat are appealing online to check whether anyone has information about his whereabouts.
Six-year-old Tinky disappeared from his garden last Monday after apparently jumping on the roof of a tall Land Rover which drove off.
It is alleged that the driver did not know the Tom-cat was there; his owners do not believe he was thrown off due to the design of the roof-rack and the fact the car only went a mile or so.
They said: "Tinky is nearly all white with a grey striped tail; he is quite friendly and missed very much."
Tinky was not wearing a collar and also has a black patch on his left shoulder.
