Quite, the aftermarket SWE-1200 is not exactly the same as the factory fitted LR040866 unit.

I wasn't arguing, and your link is definitely better value for money , I just didn't want the OP to rush off and buy one with the expectation of it fitting the plug under his cubby as his other post

Your standard LR speakers/fitting holes are basically small, so the BASS is always going to be poor, the SUB is to boost that frequency range. not really any need to get more technical than that.
Edit : And its more expensive than just a speaker because its an active(amplified) unit. 3 Landrovers |
