Going to reconsider fitting cruise control again as they’ve just decided to set the legal speed limit back from 130 to 100 kph.

Hi Stacey
I guess if I did it again it might take a few hours. It's not hard if you know your way around the dash and how to solder and get a wire through to the engine compartment. I reckon a car hi-fi etc fitter could do it if you pointed them in the appropriate directions. The unit I installed was this one: https://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/puma-tdci-t...07-my20016 Mostly because Tim and his crew have given me excellent service in the past. I don't know if they have a fitting service but they might be able to put you in touch with someone reputable in your area. Alternatively, just ask if anyone on the forum can do it and lives near you. It's worked for me in the past Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Hello. Today install the cruise control. I did everything as in the instructions, color of cables checked and verified. I start the Defender, turn on the cruise control and make a few beeps. I can't go on anymore. Any suggestions that it may be wrong? Thank you http://www.clublandrovertt.org/index.php?a...ype=avatar
