Repair is possible but won't be cheap.

I've just stripped a set of second row doors, repaired the rotten bits and had the frames galvanised (£80). Then new skins were fitted (£120) and they are being painted (£150ish). This is all using my own labour, and it was a massive pain to do - not difficult, just boring.

I would find some doors from an accident damaged 110 - as new as possible and with the steel skins (no electrolytic corrosion) and fill the frames with rust inhibitor. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk
