Good Morning Gents,
I recall reading somewhere about an adjustable intermittant wiper mod using a VW relay. I've done a search but couldn't find anything, does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this please or know how to go about it ?? I have a 15 plate XS if this makes any difference. Thanks, Mark |

What did you search?
Putting in "VW wiper intermittent" returns this amongst other things... |

Thanks Bluebottle,
I searched intermittant wipers but the link works and a relay will be duly sourced. Thanks again, Mark |

get yourself a VW 99 relay (number printed on top) replace standard wiper relay with VW one and you have variable interval wipers.
Probably cheapest to get the relay from the scrapyard. Look in the fuseboard of pretty much all early to mid 90s VAG group cars (mk3 golfs, early skoda octavias, mk3 polos etc) Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Got mine off eBay, £12 I seem to recall. One of the mods I always recommend and cheap and easy.

Obviously other people dont need to watch the pennies like i do! I paid £2 for one and £5 for another from various scrap yards.
£50 for a relay! I bought an MOTd van for £75 and it came with relays....and fuses 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |
