Guys - I am on holiday just now and having some issues with the wipers on the 110.
The switch does not seem to want to do what its meant and wipers will go all the time when in inter - not stop when meant to and stop in all locations - Ive no kit to check stuff with me - any suggestions if this is a switch issue - or likely to be the relay - If I thought it was one or the other then Id be tempted to order one online and replace as its a real pain not having these working properly just now and I suspect at some point very soon they will stop altogether - Any suggestions welcome Hugh Defender 110 County SW Disco 3 HSE Freelander 2 HSE - SOLD going back to a car www.lothian4x4response.org |

Had the same symptoms a new wiper park switch fixed it.

It does sound like the park switch, if the relay doesn't get the park switch signal to know that the wipers are in the 'park' position, the motor will keep them moving.
If it's any help, it's been dry here Mark S CONVOY for HEROES www.facebook.com/convoy4heroes www.lothian4x4response.org ------ Td5 90 Thread in 'My Defender' Forum |
