Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

Good on him, I wonder how he got on. Just got back from Dallas and if he made any in roads into the Cowgirls I saw out there, well done him. Thumbs Up They don't make kids as tough as that anymore. All about trainers, FB and computer games.... Monsieur Le Grenadier

^^^ No worries, yes I did well out of it, I had a cancer scare 5 yrs ago which only came to light after falling off my bike, lucky. I'm 48, start at 6am, finish at 11am, not stressful, just easy.
I don't really need the extra money but it keeps me sane, gets me up in the morning and meet new people every day! Great.

That's fantastic, i'd like to do something along those lines myself, i could quite happily do a 20 hour week, if i had enough money to retire early ideally i'd like an old barn conversion with land, some where i could have a small vegetable patch, some chickens etc, something to maintain. As i know full well i'd get bored with nothing to do.

What does everyone do?
I keep hearing that owning a defender means you wouldn't look out of place in any social situation and it seems many people here have a wealth of technical know how so;
