Are you referring to the rubber mats on the bottom of each drawer?
What I was after was the foam cut out sets for all the peices in the kits. Sealey do various kits with foams but I can't see the Halfords sets do. |

Hi all,
I got fed up of the flimsy foam tray liners slipping every time I closed a drawer with anything stronger than a feather. The original offerings also tended to stretch and rip easily. In the end I invested in this stuff: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anti-Slip-FINE-R...1221295500 No slipping. Tool stay where they're supposed to. Good and thick so not distortion or stretching. Not cheap but only marginally more than the foam versions and last a whole load longer. From memory I got 4m of the 1.2m width, which was sufficient for all 3 cabinets. Cost around £23. |

I picked mine up the other day, real nice set of boxes, well worth the £350 but I wouldn't pay the £800 listed price though. The one thing I may change is the castors, as the ones supplied are not very forgiving on uneven surfaces, if I want to drag the box to the 90 I have to go from concrete screed floor on garage to tarmac drive, the join is going to need a bit of work too to smooth the transition, but overall, very happy with my purchase Optimists say the glass is half full..

Taffrican,
Let me know if you manage to find suitable replacement wheels - I'd like to replace mine too. The original ones are a hard poly wheel and I've been looking for some softer rubber ones for a while, but with no success. As an aside, with your Forum name as Taffrican, can we assume you'll have split loyalties for this afternoon's game? Up the Boys. Best of luck - you're going to need it. Andy |

Hi Ho Silver...
If I find wheels I will let you know, but chances are I will be "borrowing" a set from a scrap trolley at work, they are forever throwing things like that away, the skips are full of stainless bits and bobs, it's criminal the wastage that goes on there.... I just recycle a lot of it I was also considering some pnuematic (normal tyre type) and modify a bit with a common axle on the rear and a swivel steering rack on the front but not sure on stability when the box is full? I haven't filled mine up yet so not sure on weight, also I would have to make the footprint a little bigger.... decisions decisions... but I love these type of projects, It will look like a proper 4x4 monster truck toolbox when I'm finished As for the rugby as my name suggests, I do have split loyalties and these games really hurt, I just think "let the best team win" but one thing is for sure, I will definitely have a team in the semi's, I'll just let the boy's decide who that will be Mike Optimists say the glass is half full..
