Very smart!
Are the surrounds and grill new or re-sprayed? |

New, cheapy #@$%part ones! Surrounds are fine but grill is too shiny in real life!

Wheels and tyres due to be delivered tomorrow evening and can't wait - though they are (very) used I can't wait to fit. Hope I like them. 5x genuine (scruffy) white Wolf HD wheels with 235/85/16 BFG MTRs. I had a bit of a phobia about fitting perfect take-offs on a 22 year old truck, but these will need a gentle refurb in due course imho, but we'll see

Rubbish picture in the dark but 'new' wheels and tyres are on and I'm very pleased with the general look

There's a local chap who parks in the field entrance near my house who has one just like this, as I drive past I look at it and wonder how much better it could be with a little love.
Great progress on yours, amazing how paint can come back up with the right treatment of a decent compund, polish and wax, along with work with a clay mitt too. Most often, old land rovers are not washed, let alone every treated well. I know they are a workhorse etc but they still deserve some love. This is looking really good, please keep us posted on update. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

I've been rubbish at updating this but lots of tinkering done and now waxoiled which I am very very pleased with:

Well, I've done quite a few things but I've come to a bit of a standstill! I'm determined to keep as a hardtop and with 'classic' looks but it really needs new hardtop sides, n/s front wing outer and some work on the bonnet if not a new one - not because of any rot (obviously) but just dents! But, if I do any of that it will need a respray of course or it'll look like a patchwork quilt and though I love Keswick it would be a whole different ballgame to colour change so I'm thinking I might bite the bullet and get it done Arles/Windjammer with white roof again. Alternatively perhaps I should just leave well alone and enjoy - I used to be decisive but now I am not so sure Rob
