Hi M
Was it making this noise immediately you collected it, or was it OK then? Either way, best take it back to the LR dealership and let them take a look at it - presumably when you had a demo drive in their vehicle, it did not make this noise. |

Doesn't matter when the noise started, it's under warranty. Exhaust heat shield perhaps? Take it back as suggested, we can speculate all day what it 'might' be. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Hi thanks,
the noise is since I took it out, to described it better, is more like a loose bearing. I will contact the garage anyway, but i just wanted to know if perhaps this is normal since is the first time I have one. the noise as i mentioned is only when the gears are engaged, for example if i am running and select neutral and rev, the noise is not present, as soon as it is engaged, then is present and it goes with the speed. at high speed and high gears tend to disappear perhaps overly worry, but i will check cheers pals Marc |
