United Kingdom 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 HT Zermatt Silver
110 Hard Top fitting out
Hi,

Has anyone clad the rear interior side walls to protect the external alloy skin from dings?

I'm looking at buying something to mount and fix to the side struts to protect and allow some lugs to be fitted so ithings can be stropped down? Alloy 5-bar tread sheet would look good but it's expensive, any ideas?

Cheers!

Ive just fitted these to my Utility, easy to fit and protect the panels from internal dings.

Not suitable for fastening other things to tho Smile

Thanks for that. I have a LR supplied cargo barrier fitted and that looks like it'll stop these liners from being fitted. And you're right, don't think it'll allow items to be stropped to the sided. Thanks anyway!

Here's what I did to mine.

The pictures are of my previous vehicle (2000 TD5 110 Hardtop), but with a few adjustments, everything swapped over into the Puma. I hate drilling holes in new cars, so with the exception of the big boards on the side panels, I didn't need to drill anything. Really solid & made the vehicle really quiet (for a Landy).

Nice one "hoarder", you've done a great job there - not sure I have the skill to replicate your idea.
