TE Raychem products got a couple of mentions in this thread ... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39225.html
which reminded me of an interesting video I watched recently. It is really a collection of smaller videos, fast forward to 37 mins to see Raychem wire repair products in action. Other moments of interest, if you haven't time to watch it all: 7:10 - 11:40 tracing 7.62mm damage to a Lightweight** (stick with it past the tank turret graphic) 33:40 - 34:52 improvised soldering repair to a battery terminal 33:52 - 37:10 repairing a puncture with string and glue ** I think - I'm far from an expert on military LR, but I have seen a few posts on here edit: chances are there is at least one member on here who sat through these for real?? |
