Land Rover Insurance
So I rang around all the specialist 4x4 insurers, none of them could give me a decent quote, but the best one was Adrian Flux, however the guy was very pushy to close the deal there and then.

I got the standard courtesy call from land Rover insurance to follow up on the free 7 day drive away policy the Dealer did for me, and lo and behold, they beat everyone hands down, and had slightly better terms in some areas of the policy. The chap on the phone was clear, concise and did a great job. I was very surprised they'd be so competitive.

Edit:

I forgot to say that even though this is a 2nd car and technically I have 0 yrs NCD (as it's all on my main car), LR insurance said they can mirror it as long as I provide proof from my other policy. How great is that? Also, the mirrored NCD is not protected for year one but is from year 2 onward. This is great common sense thinking, as it takes into account your driving record as a whole rather than just on one car.

Top marks to Land Rover insurance this year Thumbs Up

I found that LRI was very good and very competitive on a new vehicle, but as the vehicle became older sadly LRI became less competitive and it made sense to move my business elsewhere.
