Picked up today from forum member Familymad (what a nice bloke !), my 1964 2a 88" 2.25 petrol truck cab - what do you think ?

First job will be complete respray in Stornoway grey, Twisted alloys, full roll cage, winch, light bar above the windscreen, sound system (Kenwood of course Steve), leather dash .....

Didnt think he bought that long ago, looks great as is gives them a lot more charm doesnt it. Also liking your 90, needs a sand hood though |

Don't worry chaps, she's staying exactly as you see her now
Familymad has had her for a few years actually and has done an amazing job of renewing the underpinnings, galvanised chassis and bulkhead, rebuilt gear and transfer boxes, new brakes, replacement cotton covered loom etc etc but kept the 50 year old patina'd body work - awesome job |

I drove a 2a in my teens and when familymad started her up that wonderful engine sound just bought all the memories flooding back

It's a beaut...I hope familymad doesn't buy and sell any more...it takes an hour scroll past his signature...good job everybody doesn't do that

The ONLY change we MAY make is to add some (fully removable) period signwriting to the doors to help promote the business, other than routine servicing everything else will remain as is
