[Wanted] Black Anodised Bumper Footplates
Wanted: Pair of new genuine LR black anodised footplates for the front bumper.

(Aftermarket ones from terra-firma are powder coated not anodised).

Fixings not needed. Holes at 16cm centres.

I have these already fitted to my truck but have damaged them using a strong alkali bug remover. Weird reaction! Big Cry

Part not available to buy alone and I'm not spending £350 on a kit just for the footplates.

Drop me a PM please. Bow down

Can't help with the foot plates, boot what bug remover did you use?

I bought some autoglym but not used it yet...

IXTAR bug remover. Lethal stuff, very alkaline.

Never had a problem with silver anodised but the black is no longer black!

I'd test it on the back first. Anything acidic / alkaline can damage the anodised finish.
