Hi All
Probably a long shot but any T@B Caravan owners on this forum? if so thoughts/likes/dislikes? http://www.airstreamandco.com/tab-floorplans We've pondered the idea of a small weekend van for years (2 adults, 2 dogs) and I really like the look of the tab range. Now we've got the 90 there really is no excuse not to do it. Anyone else got anything they like in that area? At the risk of being flamed to death.....Please don't point at normal white/cream boxes. I just can't do it. TIA Barney |

Looks fantastic and it's the off road version that I liked the look of.
Did you buy in the UK? |

Yeah, had it from Brighton! I took it on a couple of gentle green lanes too!!!
People were rubbing their eyes in disbelief! I'd have another, though the missus didn't like the fact that the bed had to be set up and parted out all the time. Very comfortable, towed it as fast as I could around lanes and it lapped it up. I forgot (early dementia!) how much we paid for it and it wasn't until the missus was telling a friend how much we sold it for that I realised how much we made. The second picture had had over 11,500 views on my google account, so it's quite popular. We are having a motorhome next, even though I'd have a t@b, I couldn't have a normal caravan myself. Some more pics for you... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Ohh how I hate this forum, it forces me to spend money
Greeni, the pics look fab. Tiger, tell me more? "cream and twee" is so not me!! Nice Disco 4 buy the way! I'm just selling our Disco 3 and although I now have the 90 I still hanker for a 4. |

Hello Barney12
We have just been through the same 'mind games' with the idea of trying this, looked at the fairly limited 'style and functional' options available in the uk (or even Europe) as a source, liked the new smaller contemporary airstreams but just couldn't justify the £ for those imported into the UK...wished the 4X4 caravan market in South Africa and Australia had a foot hold here, then looked closely at the Eriba range as a base for what we wanted. Not too big, really well built with a steel space frame, can be used 4 season should you want too, and has that non-box / streamline design that is now viewed as retro, (although Eriba has always produced vans this way) building up a cult following particularly Europe. A bit like a cross between an airstream and a vw camper van, built by Hymer in Germany. Ours is having a few modifications currently, and the aim is get it into Europe for some adventures...
