Can be flown manual or set fully autonomous and I could go do something else and leave it to fly what I've told it.

Scary what these are capable of. Recent video on YouTube had one of these firing a hand gun completely remotely. The automatic stabilization made it quite accurate and after the backfire, it levelled itself out again with ease. Bloomin scary!

Been reading a bit about these guys at Flyability - i think they recently won an award to help develop the kit further - looks almost crash free and relatively safer than other drones:
