What silver for MY02?
Hello everyone, first post since buying my 90 H/T a few weeks ago, replacing my '89 RRC....

I'm assuming it's Zambezi Silver as a MY02, can't find a paint code or the colour anywhere, but just wanted to double check I've got my facts right before i order the wrong touch up paint.

thx
Jon

Paint colour code should be on the VIN plate under the bonnet... If you search the forum there is a thread which explains this in more detail I seem to recall. 2005 110 XS - Cairns Blue "Bertha" - Gone, and sorely missed

Indeed as bluebottle says, VIN plate on top of brake servo, paint # bottom left.

Zambezi silver = 737 (same as mine) Thumbs Up

Not necessarily...

Mine has a big empty blank space where the paint code box is Rolling Eyes

It was quite common for Land Rover not to stamp them with the colour code.

They may have got better at doing it in later years however.

If not, UK Defenders never had that big a range of paint colours so have a look what colour was available your year and it was probably that one Thumbs Up Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197
