Collected the car back from the Dealer, all work done, car fully valeted, plastic covers on the seats and the steering wheel (me likey) and floor mats down.

Land Rover paid for all the work, I opted to pay for a new slave cylinder while it was all apart, a belt and braces approach, seemed silly not to take advantage of it being apart.

They gave me a brand new Evoque for the loan car, which is very nice to drive but too small for me.

Overall, a great experience with the Dealer. Thumbs Up 2016 D4 HSE

Followed your thread for quite some time now as you purchased while I was hunting and you have very tastefully made some great modifications.

Glad the dealer got everything sorted and to an excellent.

On to your new seats - stunning! I would opt for low rise purely as the high rise will be more prone to wear jumping in and out of the car but agree they would hold you in more.

Thanks Cake, good to know people are reading.

When the seats and headlining are being done I will take photos and describe the process for people, should be very easy to do (apart from the inevitable spinning Rivnut on the rear view mirror!) 2016 D4 HSE

The seats look great, but with the white stitching are you going to get seat covers...? I guess when you're out shooting you get covered in mud and blood so the seats will get a hammering..?

Can you get seat covers for these seats..?

cheers

Typically, the stitching material used on things like upholstery etc are stain proof, like a waxed cotton effect, so I doubt it will be an issue.

My Range Rover has contrast stitching and it's never been an issue 2016 D4 HSE

Father Christmas has arrived early at the RRUK house!
Longest week of my life, one of the most exciting purchases to date.

Certainly very well packaged by the guys at LRI, and beautiful quality. Have sat on them and they are just perfect for my frame, can't wait to install them once the headlining is done.

Amazed by how supportive they are, the headrest is right where you need it and your whole body feels properly supported.

It turns out that my cheap Halfords seats covers which I have had for about ten years (a universal style) fit these seats just fine too, they have been the best £20 ever spent! They don't fit the Range Rover so last year I bought tailored ones by Inka which are very nice. 2016 D4 HSE

They look really great, but I do wonder the folks sitting behind on the sofa are going to find it hard to watch the tv Rolling with laughter

Oh how I wish I had a nice heated garage in which to work on the Defender in the cold dark months. I hate not being able to get stuff done and it's just sitting there til the weekend.

Want to get loads done this weekend but the forecast is rain and 50mph winds...FFS! Big Cry 2016 D4 HSE

Easily fixed.....

Ditch the sofa. Mr. Green

Really pleased you like them RRUK as you know I have exactly the same and I've not been disapointed for one minute.
Incredibly well put together.

Am I right in thinking they have a fixed base? If so how do you get to the jack etc under the seat?

RRUK, I have a barn you're more than welcome to use! Not heated but out of the weather but unfortunately not very close!! Whistle

The bases are fixed.

The jack is kept behind the seats, not under them.

To change the battery you'd need to undo the 4 bolts and remove the seat. 2016 D4 HSE

My jack is in the passenger seat box. Thus if I get a puncture I'll have to whip out my 10mm ratchet from the cubby and pop the seat in the back. OK, its an extra 10 minutes of faff but as my mileage is low and local I'm really not that worried.

The bigger worry if I have with a puncture is being able to lift the 18" Sawtooths with BFG's. They weigh a flippin' tonne!
