| Engine - gearbox whining :-( :-( | |
Hey guys. I have a really annoying problem that drives me crazy. 
In first, second and third gear, no probs.
But in fourth and surely in fifth gear, there is a high whining sound 'somewhere' under the bonnet or transmission tunnel. Hard to tell where it comes from.
It's really annoying 'cause it is just the most hearable at cruising speed.
If i push the throttle pedal just a little bit further, it goes away ...
When driving uphill, it also fades away ...
But then again, when driving downhill, and so when there is no load or resistance, it comes back ...
Sounds like wiiiiiiiii ...
Changed the oil in de the diffs.
Gearbox oil is ok, but will change it soon.
Transfer box oil is ok, but will also change it soon.
Replaced the belt.
Changed the studs and gasket at the manifold.
Turbo seems fine, normal play ...
Gearchange are smooth ...
Sorry for my bad writing guys, but i'm from Belgium.
