Anglesey Transport and Agriculture Museum: Tyddyn Pwrpas, Newborough, Anglesey is worth a visit. Has a few Land Rovers on display along with a good selection of vintage http://www.jonniejumble.co.uk/classic_car_...esey.shtml https://www.facebook.com/AngleseyTransportMuseumTaclaTaid The Museum also has a camp caravan site attached. Newborough is about twenty minutes drive from Red Wharf Bay. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Hello All
The Heritage Motor Centre remains an option but from the feed back, I think this is probably an alternative day out, both to make the most of a visit (as has been pointed out) and to test / gain wider participation. The Centre Manager has been very helpful and remains open to our suggestions, if we want visit in any numbers. Our event is now focused on Red Wharf Bay. The t-shirts will be a collectors item with the mis-print, we can just strike it out with gaffer tape. Job done..

Bloody hell! to what did I commit myself
Friday meeting London. Thought about attending the Buscraft weekend afterwards (http://www.wildernessgathering.co.uk/index.html) and than join you all… Now I see the bushcraft weekend it is 270 Miles up North… so no option.. Never been any further than Birmingham to the West and Sheffield to the North.. Afterwards I like to pick-up a car in Hethel, Norfolk on Monday.. All return ferry’s seems booked, so have to go by tunnel back on Monday evening… Any other Idea to do, for such a long trip? Will be possible longer than my returntrip to spain... |
