Beware with the coolant hoses
Hey guys!

Just a word of caution
Some days ago I noticed some red liquid leaking from the motor. In few hours the leaking was extensive and in each red ligth my Defender leave a puddle of coolant in the road. The culprit: After 200,000 km one of the coolant hoses that was in contact with a metal edge from the wheelarch or the wing and finally was cut (one of the hoses marked as 12 in the drawing).

So, check your coolant hoses to do not have the same trouble.

Cheers Eduardo

I replaced the same hose a few months ago, it wasn't leaking, but was badly chewed Shocked . I came to the conclusion that I have rats, little Censored must like the warmth of my engine at night.
