The EGR valve was blanked off years ago, now I wonder if I safely can remove the EGR ECU which is living under the cubby box. I want to replace the cubby box with a higher one, so want to get rid of the lost space under the cubby. I thought it only contolled the EGR, so it's obsolete now. Any thoughts? Cheers, Vincent

Just unplug it. makes no difference to the running of the engine.

Hi all,
I've just replaced my cubby box with a centre seat, but the EGR ECU doesn't seem to fit underneath the seat base. I'm I missing something or should the ECU be located elsewhere? I did wonder whether it should be in the battery box. Any advice please? Thanks, Andy |

It should screw underneath the centre seat ,I've just removed mine this evening and thrown it in the bin.

Thanks,
Presumably it screws towards the front of the underside as this seems to provide more room. Regards, Andy |
