"In 1957, renowned biologist Dr Bristol Foster and his friend, artist Robert Bateman hopped into Foster’s then brand new Land Rover & headed out on an incredible year long journey.
The trip was well documented on film & in paintings & sketches and the Grizzly Torque, as the two named it, survived in running condition. Now, at great expense, it’s being restored to it’s pre-journey condition." ![]() Click image to enlarge http://www.cheknews.ca/a-1957-land-rover-w...sey-107680 and it's got those split screen opening windows in the front ![]() |
