2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Orkney Grey

Towing electrics

Can someone tell me if the towing electrics are fused on the fuse board or is it separately somewhere??

I'm getting nothing at all on my trailer board lights so fished out the wire from the towing socket (7 pin) to the joining plug and all looks ok so I'm thinking maybe a fuse has gone but can't see anything labled in the fuse box for it....

Or am I missing something??

All the trailer lights are fused via the standard fuses , sidelight on defender is same fuse used for trailer sidelight etc etc

if no trailer lights at all , then earth would be my first thing to check as thats shared by all lights

does the trailer wiring from back of socket go straight to the defender wiring , just in case someone has fitted a 7 way bypass that isnt needed on a defender ?
