Huge amount of Series ones!
Hi

We are on route back from Derbyshire heading down south in the 80" after attending the Series One club weekend.
Tomorrow we have another 120 miles to go! Looks like a canvas off day tomorrow Cool

What a great time had by all, and lovely runs out taking in the scenery.

Just thought you may like to see a few pics.
There were some cracking Land Rovers, roll on next year! Same weekend at Plumpton Race Course.

The best series 1 there was JJX341 belonging to Darren Beard.
He has won a concourse trophy at Eastnor castle this year, and IMHO should have won at the weekend!

We met up and spent the weekend with him, to see this close up was a privilege.
It truly is a work of art, possibly one of the best LR restorations I've ever seen.

The greatest sight of the weekend was this turning up!!!

We had a run to Derbyshire on the Sunday. Weather was not too good but the Series Ones were excellent. Some really nice examples. Thanks for all the pics. I agree JXX looked magnificent even in the drizzle.
