WANTED, spare wheel to bonnet bolts
Wheh heyyy. A new Series section, thanks Martin.

I only have one bolt and one z bracket thingy, attaching my spare wheel (with 750 tyres) to my bonnet, and they only seem to be available used. So I thought why not try and address that here? In this new section.

I've found them on ebay, but so far only with sellers who won't ship outside the UK. So does anybody have one, or a pair, sitting around that they wouldn't mind selling?

These are what I need. I have the bonnet wheel carrier, I'm just missing one of the bolts and the z-shaped things they pass through.

If you want to buy them off ebay and get them shipped to us, I can always forward them on to you. One way around the ebay just selling inside the UK

Thanks! That's a really kind offer, what a good forum this is!

I'll see if anybody on the forum can turn one (or a pair) up first.

I'm up in Derbyshire at the S1 club meet, if I see any I will grab them!
They are hard to find.

How much do you want to pay?

By the way, big big thank you Martin! Thumbs Up 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

The going rate I guess, I watched three sets go on ebay and they all went for between £20 and £25.

Thanks though Ian, if you find them, I'll certainly take them off your hands. As I said, the 109 is on 750 tyres, so I'm not sure if those things are 'sized'?

The reason they have a long leg and a short leg is that for 6.00x16 the short leg is down, and for 7.50x16 the long leg is down. One size fits all!

I've definitely seen different sized ones, here's an image showing both sizes together:

Interesting. Different rim widths and offsets perhaps?

Yes, for different size rims.
You will find the longer ones on a LWB.

I had been after a short set for a long time.
strange that of all the series vehicles ever made, things like these and genuine rear grab handles seem hard to find? 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"
