Roger Crathorne is a bit of a Lode Lane legend... He was interviewed recently (April?) in LRO and had been at LR for years doing just about everything at one time or another.

I remember that film and stopping in to watch it especially. They did something similar back in the early 80's , filmed at Bovington Test ground. They had a series 3 up against its rivals , never been able to find the footage anywhere. I last seen it when at a car show at the old Bingley Hall in Brum ... Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Not a great deal I think, can often be found at the larger historic events though sometimes in the commentary box.
