I don't know which lenses you have exactly as there are many different versions, each drawing differently. So check carefully, have a look at the condition of yours and be patient. The worst thing that can happen is to sell them for more than you wanted the year before. Don't ask me how I know...
Which 50mm Summicron is it? |

Have you got an adaptor for the Elmarit-M to work with a Canon 550d EOS? / Could it be done?

Wouldn't know which one it I just by looking at the serial number but thanks anyways.
As for putting an M lens on a dslr, if possible it would mean having the lens on an extension tube. So it wouldn't work as a 'normal' lens. |

Hi mrd
I sold my M8.2 a while ago and I use the lenses on a Sony Nex7. Videoing is great having total control of DOF and focus. I'm sure you could buy a M mount for your canon. Google is your friend |

No, unfortunately that won't be possible as said above. It's to do with the flange distance.
You're able to use an adapter on a NEX7 because it's original flange distance is shorter than on the M system. But if you want to be able to mount an M lens to a dslr, you'd need to shorten the flange distance e.g. cutting a massive part of the front of you dslr: http://www.imaging-resource.com/news/2012/...cluding-le |
